The register

The lines we breed

Each line is held by multi-generation selective breeding — never random pairing — with DNA verification and pedigree records kept on the breeding stock. Colour and body shape are developed through genetics alone. Nothing is enhanced.

Grade is a thing you see
with your own eyes

Size differs across arowana, and so does the way a fish carries colour as it grows. That is why we ask you to come and look before anything is agreed — at the parents, at the grow-out tanks, at the fish itself.

The match

We understand people
before we sell fish

A fish that suits you is not the same as the best fish on the farm. Matching is the whole job, and it runs in this order.

  1. 01

    We understand your space

    Tank size, environment and your long-term plans. No tank yet? We advise on the ideal dimensions. Undersized for the variety you want? We recommend a better-suited breed, or practical options, so the fish has room to thrive — at minimum 4 ft × 2 ft for a Crossback, 5 ft × 2.5 ft for a Blood Red.

  2. 02

    You view the big fish

    Our breeding stock and mature, fully developed specimens — so you see how each bloodline turns out over time, and we can match body shape, finnage and colour development to what you actually expect. An arowana lives twenty years or more; it should never be an impulse purchase.

  3. 03

    We match breed and generation to your tank

    Size differs across arowana, so the generation matters as much as the line.

    A 3.5 ft tank, and you want ultimate blue? Then a Sumo F4 — a fish that stays smaller when grown.

  4. 04

    You choose from the grow-out tanks

    Or from the grooming tanks. Grow-out fish are kept in white-bottom systems on purpose — nothing flattering the colour — so what you are judging is true genetic quality. We pre-groom the fish before it is handed over.

The wait

The wait is the point

Bespoke is not a word we use about packaging. It is the reason you cannot walk in and walk out with a fish. What you are actually waiting on is time that has already been spent — and time that still has to be.

Its age
Nothing is rushed to a sellable size. The fish leaves when the fish is ready.
Its time in fibreglass
How long it has lived in the grow-out house before it moves changes how it settles into your tank.
Its parents
Our breeding stock is a minimum of seven years old. That is the part nobody can shortcut.

Handover

No same-day carry-home

The fish you choose is starved and quarantined before it travels, so that no bacteria rides into your tank with it — the same process we use to export. And no fish leaves the farm with a defect, unless you have specifically chosen a cull specimen and know exactly what it is.

    You choose

    The fish is selected from the grow-out tanks and set aside for you.

  2. Days 1–2

    Starve & quarantine

    Feeding stops and the fish is held apart — the two things that keep bacteria out of the water it is going to.

  3. Day ~3

    Collection

    Pre-groomed and tanned to bring out its natural colour, settled and ready to travel. You collect, or we ship.
